I was born in El Paso TX. the mighty Rio Grande. My parents were as opposite as can be: Mom a full blown card caring Hippy, love child..and Dad military raised. So I have both of their worlds and finding the right balance for my life keeps me in constant check...It also reminds that duality and harmony and balance are the grounding factors that I abide to in my Life. The logic and realist factors give me subjects and creations for my art and writings. They allow me to pose issues and perhaps ask questions that some would never think to ask.There is a natural flow to this world, I try to remember that. I take what I need and leave the rest for surely some one else will happen by and they to might need.. I find that my art flows with the world or at least the way I interpert it as it is happening. I find that my work exchanges many faces from social issues, to fantasy, to spiritual guides in my life. I would like to say that I stay in a particular art realm a comfort zone if you will, however I find comfort unsettling almost complacent. My life moves forward and backwards side to side and my art and writings seem to follow the same course. Each piece that I create is like showing a small part of my soul and my reasonings. I look for the duality in many of my pieces as I believe that life is duality. Always two sides, light an dark, good and bad, rain and sunshine, laughter and tears, every aspect of our culture is bound by dualties.
I am a self taught and of course an natural gift given artist I started many years ago as a single mom, I found that I could not decorate my kids rooms as thier peers were,but I knew I could draw, so I started the murals and theme rooms.This lead to word of mouth and behold.
I also have English degree(many years ago 1st college)
I have an Interior Design Certficate

I am a poet with published work. Souls of the Mind issues 3 am is the piece
I am also a writer. on issues pertaining to politics, government, and all social and economic issues near and dear to my heart.

Some of the social issues that I support consist of : Cancer Research, Hunger, The New Order Government death of freedoms and capitailism,
Reform Healthcare, Children and Elderly Causes, Animal Rights.
